You have three routes: a traditional care agency (high cost, less choice of carer), an introductory directory (variable vetting), or DebbiesCare. Membership is £19/month for access to verified UK caregivers and our weekly live family call. When you need hand-matching and 90 days of real-time nurse support, our 90-Day Transition Program starts at £499.

Start by writing down the week as it actually is: mornings, meds, meals, mobility, the bits that worry you most. Share that with your CARE Coach and they'll match you with caregivers who've done exactly that kind of work. You meet them, you choose — nobody is allocated to you.

Search the DebbiesCare directory by postcode or town. Every caregiver lists their location, availability and the kind of care they're trained for. If nobody local fits, your CARE Coach can widen the search — including live-in carers who travel.

Look for three things: verified ID and references, experience that matches your actual needs (dementia, mobility, end-of-life, etc.), and a personality your loved one warms to. Every DebbiesCare caregiver is ID-checked, reference-verified and right-to-work confirmed — and you always meet them before committing.

Hourly home care typically runs £20–£28/hour; live-in care is usually £950–£1,500/week. DebbiesCare adds no commission — you arrange pay directly with your carer, so more of the money goes to the person doing the work.
